Solution Architect - Global Master Data Management

The Data & Analytics team has an exciting opportunity for a Solution Architect, Global Master Data Management. In this role, you will own responsibility for coordinating master data management initiatives across our data product landscape to globally improve and progress Align to a world class data driven organization. He/she will be responsible for working with the various business area leads to ensure cross-team processes are efficient and master data is consistent, accurate and compliant across application. Coordinates and/or executes plans to ensure that technical solutions meet the needs of the business.

In this role, you will…

Design and implement Customer, Patient Master following industry standards such as FHIR
Create and implement a Master Data Management strategy to ensure data standardization, quality, governance and provide a single source-of-truth for the domains.
Serve as subject matter expert on Master Data Management within Align.
Define a systems landscape for Data Management to connect data flows across all Align Data systems ((i.e. hierarchies, attributes/properties, export/import routines, validations)
Collaborate with Architecture leads to launch scalable and reliable data solutions, support system integration efforts, and create operational efficiencies through automation and process improvements
Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models to support data analysis and business intelligence
Operationalize governance processes for creation/change of data, to define business rules, and to implement and improve data standards, quality, integrity, and consistency
Collaborate with legal and information security to manage data risk through data classifications and data zoning. Allow information assets to be immediately identified and proactively managed as more information becomes federated in a digital economy
Implement data migration strategies working closely with technical leaders across various domains
Develop and execute test plans and scenarios including data design, tool design, data extract/transform, networks, and hardware

In this role, you’ll need …

Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, accounting, computer science or a related discipline is required
Experience implementing master data management solutions preferably in health care domain
Experience implementing various global/regional data privacy and compliance regulations – GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, PIPL
More than 12 years of experience in the following fields: information technology, logical and physical data modeling, database administration, enterprise application integration, and business process management
Business domain, data/content and process understanding (which are more important than technical skills)
Expert knowledge of logical and physical data modeling, and leverage these skills to ensure consistent and efficient application of technologie.
To be organizationally savvy, with a good understanding of the enterprise's political climate and how to navigate, influence and persuade political waters
To possess the ability to interface with, and gain the respect of, stakeholders at all levels and roles in the company
Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
